CALIFORNIA MOUNTAIN GIRL HEATHER RAE YOUNG
IS PLAYBOY’S MISS FEBRUARY
Running Springs, California native Heather Rae Young, is Playboy’s February 2010 Playmate of the Month in the magazine’s January/February double issue, with additional photos available on Playboy.com.
Miss February grew up in this tiny California mountain town that overlooks the San Bernardino National Forrest, and spent her childhood skiing, hiking, dancing and learning about small-town values. After graduating from Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead, Heather decided that she wanted to pursue modeling full time, and now works as a lingerie, bikini and clothing model. And, when she’s not modeling, Miss February enjoys staying in shape – she regularly runs, walks her dog on the beach, does yoga and dances.
After receiving the call from Playboy explaining that she had been named Miss February 2010, Heather was surprised and shocked, and she couldn’t be more excited about being the Valentine Playmate. “I loved Playboy when I was growing up in those mountains,” she explained. “And now look at me: I’m Miss February! Unbelievable.” This is Heather’s second appearance in the magazine – she was first featured in a pictorial in the September 2009 issue – and she is thrilled to be the newest Playmate of the Month.
Heather looks forward to continuing her modeling career, and also aspires to become an actress. As far as short term goals go, this month’s Playmate hopes to buy a house in 2010 and start a family in the near future.
